Softening and Hydration, great for Mature Skin
Rose in its various forms, has been utilized for centuries all over the world. It requires 250 pounds of flowers to obtain one ounce of rose oil, thus making it an expensive essential oil when it is pure. Rose oil serves many purposes in aromatherapy. Utilized in skin care, it has both softening and hydrating properties as well as antiseptic and stimulating qualities. Rose is beneficial for all skin care, especially dry, damaged or mature skin. Rose is also used for redness and inflammation and for the treatment of broken capillaries.
Apricot oil comes from the kernel of the seeds of the apricot tree and is rich in vitamins A and B. It is a light oil that is easily absorbed into the skin. Apricot oil is beneficial for the skin around the eyes, mouth and neck, leaving it moisturized and smooth. This oil is very helpful to damaged skin cells and works great for mature, dry, sensitive or inflamed skin.
Unlike hydrosols or floral waters you can obtain from the store which are nothing more than distilled water with fragrance, I make the rose hydrosol which is incorporated into this product line. The hydrosol I make is processed in an all glass distiller with water I have carefully removed all of the chemicals from prior to its use. The essential oil is left in the hydrosol increasing the potency and therapeutic value of each product made from it.
